NOVA Pressroom Products LLC, announced the company’s appointment as the exclusive North American distributor for N&N Graphic Concern(s) PTE. LTD unique line of UV Coatings. Located in Singapore with additional manufacturing facilities in China, N&N’s UV Coatings are preferred by leading edge printers and converters throughout Asia and Australia.

Andy Nei, Managing Director of N&N stated, “With the enthusiastic support of NOVA Pressroom Products, we look forward to launching our new nano-technology, Multi-Purpose UV Coating to the Canadian and United States Graphic Arts community.

Working with research centers in Europe and the United States, MP UV Coating was developed to increase the printer’s operating window across a broad range of applications and surfaces. Through exhaustive testing on numerous types of presses, MP UV Coating can be used with paper, board and plastics. The surface can be re-coated, printed and foil-stamped. It has demonstrated outstanding write and erase capabilities and will accept most EVA type water-based and hot-melt adhesives without the need to spot out, reducing blanket and press set-up costs. In addition, MP UV Coating can be used as a primer, leaving a surface that is printable for up to one year with conventional UV or screen inks. This product’s unique surface will also accept hot and cold foil stamping, screen printing, foam tape and laser print. MP UV Coating exhibits a very low odor, with a slide angle of 12 to 14 degrees, a superior flow for high gloss and a hi-slip rate.

N&N also features nano-technology UV Coatings for high speed web presses, flexo label presses, tube printing and flexo pre-print liner board. Products are available with high gloss, matte or satin finish.

“We are very pleased to represent N&N UV Coatings,” stated Ronald J. Rose, President of Nova Pressroom Products. “Andy Nei is a legend in the Asian Ink and Coating business.
